MMU Women’s Golf Places Third

The Mount Marty Lancers finished in third place at the Kaitlyn Erickson/Doane women’s golf invite Wednesday at Pioneers Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska. Northwestern secured the team victory. Yankton Relay Team Earns Victory

Yankton athletes earned one victory and eight runner-up finishes at the Eastern South Dakota Conference Indoor track and field event, held Tuesday in Aberdeen. Bucks Sweep Tennis Victories

Yankton Beats Mitchell and BV in Boys Tennis

YHS Competes at ESD Indoor T & F Meet Today

The Yankton Gazelles and Bucks head north to compete in the ESD Conference Indoor Track & Field championships today at Northern State University in Aberdeen.  The teams compete in pods and then the times and distances are matched up to decide the event winners.  Yankton takes part in the opening group beginning at noon today.read more »

Vinatieri is an Academic All-American Hall of Famer

The National Football League’s all-time leading scorer is being inducted into the Academic All-American Hall of Fame.  Placekicker Adam Vinatieri from Rapid City and South Dakota State majored in fitness and wellness and was an Academic All-American for the Jacks in 1994.   Vinatieri scored 2,673 points in 24 pro seasons, holds the NFL record with…read more »
