Yankton athletes earned one victory and eight runner-up finishes at the Eastern South Dakota Conference Indoor track and field event, held Tuesday in Aberdeen. Yankton’s title came from the boys’ 3200-meter relay with a time of 9:15.95., ran by Tim Merchen, Nate Schoenfelder, Zach Fedde, and Dylan Payer. Yankton track and field now turns their attention to a varsity quad at Sioux Falls Washington this coming Tuesday.
