Avera has announced a new cancer institute site in Yankton.
The $16 million site will offer comprehensive services that include medical oncology, radiation oncology, chemotherapy infusion, clinical research, genetic counseling and other support services.
Avera Sacred Heart Regional President and CEO, Doug Ekeren, says that the institute will be located on the Avera Fox Run Health Campus at 2601 Fox Run Parkway.
The Avera Cancer Institute site in Yankton is set to go under renovation this summer and be completed in the fall of 2025.
