Dakota Theatre to Present “Our Town” This Weekend

The historic Dakota Theatre in Yankton, a small city on the Missouri River and the Nebraska border in the southeast corner of South Dakota. Opened in 1902 as an opera house and remodeled as a silent-movie house, complete with a $10,000 pipe organ in 1921, it closed in 1987 but was reborn as a live-performance venue.

Dakota Theatre to Present “Our Town” This Weekend

The Dakota Theatre will be presenting “Our Town” this weekend.

Director Jim Reimler says that “Our Town” is a three act play that takes place in the early 1900s in a small New Hampshire town.

Reimler says that show times for “Our Town” are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
