Yankton High School Senior Lucas Kampshoff officially signed on with Mount Marty University on Monday, in an event on the MMU campus.
Yankton Baseball Coach Drew Lawrence spoke highly of Kampshoff, saying that those within the program have known how great he could be from a young age.
Mount Marty Head Coach Josh Teichroew reiterated Lawrence’s sentiment, saying that the Lancers have been keeping tabs on Kampshoff since early on in his high school career.
Kampshoff gave credit for his development to the Yankton Baseball Program at all levels.
Kampshoff will graduate from Yankton High School in May and join the Lancers in the fall. Kampshoff plans to study exercise science at MMU.
