The woman charged in the death of an infant in Yankton has pled not guilty.
Jennifer Schurman, 33, who faces charges of Second-Degree Manslaughter, Abuse or Cruelty of a Minor, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Contempt in the death of her infant daughter on February 28th appeared in court Thursday.
Schurman is next scheduled to appear in court in Yankton County for a status hearing on May 30th.
