The list of candidates for the 2024 Yankton City Commission election became official Friday.
With three seats open on the city commission, the candidates are:
- Dave Carda
- Craig Sommer
- Bridget Benson (Incumbent)
- Mike Villanueva (Incumbent)
The Yankton School District received only two petitions – Kathy Greeneway & Jordan Schild – and will not be having a 2024 school board election.
The Yankton City Commission election will be held Tuesday, April 9th.
