District 18 Representative Mike Stevens has announced that he will seek re-election to the State House of Representatives in the 2024 election.
Stevens was first elected to the State House in 2012 where he served for six years.
Stevens returned to the legislature in 2020 where he now serves as Speaker Pro Temp, Chair of the Education Committee, and Vice-Chair of the Judiciary Committee.
Stevens said Thursday that “Representing the Yankton region has been an honor, especially when it comes to providing resources for our students and veterans.”
The general election will be held November 5th.
