Three teenagers have been arrested for their alleged involvement in an incident that saw gun shots being fired in Yankton County.

Yankton Police Chief Jason Foote says that YPD Officers were requested to assist the Yankton County Sheriff’s Department in locating a vehicle and occupants involved in a report of gun shots being fired in the 3900 block of Peninnah near Chan Gurney Municipal Airport last Wednesday.

Foote says that officers were able to locate the vehicle and during an investigation it was discovered that that another incident took place at Riverside Park that same evening, in which a vehicle occupied by two victims had been shot at.

Foote says that officers were able to identify and arrest Chase Tirado, 19, Corey Lucht, 18, and Kasen Hoilien, 18 as suspects in the case.

Tirado has been charged with discharge of a firearm at a motor vehicle, reckless discharge of a firearm, and aggravated assault.
