After a small mountain has risen in the southeast corner of the Old State Hospital Campus at 31st and Broadway, the new home of Paradigm Technologies, Inc. has been going up very rapidly.
Paradigm’s president, Kyle Kenfield, says, “The PTI site in Yankton is expected to be substantially completed Spring of 2024. The company will begin moving equipment when possible, and ramping up production following that.”
Paradigm builds bolt-action sporting rifles with carbon fiber stocks, and carbon fiber wrapped barrels, starting at a price of $7,000, bringing more sales tax dollars into Yankton.
Kenfield says “PTI customers have already proven to purchase real estate, vacation, work, etc. in SD as a result of a single interaction experience.”
Kenfield says, “As PTI grows, the economic result of that will become more significant.”
They also have plans to construct a companion building just north of this first structure, hoping to start construction within 2 years.
