Crofton City Councilman Larry Peitz will retain his seat on the Crofton city council after a recall election Tuesday.
The voting results were:
- For Recall – 107
- Against Recall – 132
According to the Knox County Clerk’s Office, Pietz’s recall election saw a 48% voter turnout.
This is the second recall election involving a Crofton City Councilman this year, as James Murphy avoided a recall attempt in September.
