Welcoming Week begins Friday, and Connecting Cultures will be holding at kickoff event at the Center on Saturday.
Sarah Brandt, with Connecting Cultures, says that they will have food from 10 different countries at the event.
Brandt says that the goal of Welcoming Week is to help different cultures learn about each other.
Welcoming Week starts Friday and runs through next Sunday. The kickoff event on Saturday will be from 5 until 9 p.m. at The Center.
