At approximately 3:45pm on Saturday, September 2nd, officers from the Yankton Police Department were dispatched to the corner of 4th and Broadway for a vehicle accident with injury.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that 2013 maroon Chevy Impala failed to yield to oncoming traffic while making a turn, causing a 2021 Chevy Silverado to collide with it.
One driver was transported by EMS with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the YPD. Yankton Fire Department and Yankton County EMS responded to the incident.
