A man involved in a hostage situation in Yankton back in March has been found guilty of Aggravated Assault.
As part of a plea agreement, Ricky Leroy German, 61, Yankton, pled no contest to an Aggravated Assault charge that occurred during the hostage situation on March 23rd, and was found guilty.
As a result of the plea agreement, the First and Second-Degree Kidnapping charges against German have been dropped.
German also pled guilty to a prior Identity Theft felony charge that occurred in Minnehaha County.
German’s sentencing is scheduled for October 10th at the Yankton County Courthouse.
