The Vermillion Fire Department is reporting that they responded to a fire inside of the Vermillion Walmart Tuesday afternoon.
According to Vermillion Fire Chief, Matthew Callahan, upon arrival on scene, firefighters discovered light smoke that had emulated from a meat cooler.
Callahan says that they were able to extinguish the fire and ventilate the smoke from the cooler.
Callahan says that the meat cooler sustained fire and heat damage, there were no reported injuries.
It was determined that the fire that was accidental and electrical in nature.
