Prairie Fire Productions will be bringing the musical “Matilda” to the stage this week.
Eva Koerner, who is 11-years-old, and starring as the titular lead, says that this is her first acting role.
Koerner says that playing Matilda has been enjoyable.
Keith Goeden, who is the director and is playing the role of Matilda’s father, says that Koerner has made the part her own.
“Matilda” will be performed live at Marian Auditorium on the Mount Marty campus eight times over the next two weeks, with the first show this Thursday at 7 p.m.
