News broke Monday that local businessman Matt Evans has purchased the Yankton Mall and will rename it “Event Central”.
Evans says that the first thing he wants to accomplish is reopening the movie theatre.
Evans says that after the movie theatre, they will begin work on a new JoDean’s Restaurant, which closed in May.
Evans says that they also have plans to work on the mall parking lot.
Evans says that they have no timeline on any of the planned projects as of right now.
