The Yankton Mall is under new ownership.
The Yankton Press and Dakotan is reporting that Matt Evans, a local business man who has served time on the Yankton County Planning and Zoning Commission has purchased the mall.
Evans says that the mall will be renamed Event Central and will feature a reopened movie theatre, an Escape Room and a new JoDean’s Restaurant, among other stores.
Evans says that he has no timeline on any projects as of now.
