Yankton’s Food for Thought annual fundraiser is underway.
Food for Thought founder Sandi Kramer says they are currently distributing over 450 Sack packs each week and the Food Pantry has approximately 150 families visit them each month.
YSD Child Nutrition Director Laura Horacek says that they will have two fundraisers this year with the Supermarket Sweep and the Poker Run.
Horacek says that the Poker Run will begin at Upper Deck Sports Bar and Grill and that tickets for the Supermarket Sweep can be purchased now, with both the drawing and the Poker Run being held on July 15th.
