On Tuesday evening, the Yankton County Commission met, and discussed the Northwest Jim River Road Washout, which has been damaged for almost 5 years.
Mike Sedlacek, Yankton County Highway Superintendent, talks about what needs to be done before the lowering and repairing of the road happens…
William Kludt (Klute), a resident of the area effected, reacts to the plan to lower the road…
Sedlacek was ordered by the Commission to fix a sign at the Kludt property, and is planning on installing a permanent sign which would not be knocked over.
Sedlacek notes that the bid process should take 4 to 6 weeks, then the county can look at a timeline for repairs.
