The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting that a Yankton man was killed in a two-vehicle crash near the South Dakota/Minnesota border.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, an eastbound Mercury Grand Marquis and a westbound semi-truck on Highway 30 collided head-on four miles south of Pipestone, Minnesota Monday night.
The driver of the Mercury, Derek William Bonin, 39, Yankton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi, Willie Rosario, 53, suffered no injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash.
