The Yankton School Board has authorized a purchase of a digital video board for the Yankton High School Gym.
According to the school district, the video board will cost $77,360.
YSD Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle says that they have received a $20,000 donation from an out of town alum, and have set a fundraising goal of $25,000 for the project.
Kindle says that the video board will be used for a multitude of activities.
Kindle says that plans call for the video board to be installed this summer.
