The Yankton Police Department has responded to several serious incidents in the month of May.
Yankton Police Chief Jason Foote praised the Police Department staff for their response and handling of each incident.
Foote also thanked the Yankton community for their support.
Incidents that the YPD responded to in May include a high-speed chase with multiple fatalities and the fatal stabbing of a Yankton woman.
