Yankton Thrive and Build Dakota will be hosting a Build Your Career luncheon on Tuesday to celebrate the local students that were awarded with the Build Dakota Scholarship this year.
Yankton Thrive Workforce Development Director Rita Nelson says that Build Dakota Scholarship is a full ride to one of the state’s four technical colleges.
Nelson says that 15 students in the region were awarded with Build Dakota Scholarships this year.
The Build Your Career luncheon will be from Noon until 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the River Rocks Event Center.
