With the school year coming to an end, the Yankton School District has announced that their summer lunch program will be making a return in June.
YSD Child Nutrition Supervisor Laura Horacek says that they’re excited to offer the summer lunch program again this year.
Horacek says that in addition to the lunch program, the school district has partnered with United Way of Greater Yankton and the Yankton Community Library to offer fun programs for kids.
The summer lunch program will run from June 2nd through July 28th and is free for students 18 and under and $4.00 for adults.
