On Monday night, the Yankton City Commission met and discussed a bid to improve the tennis courts at the Summit Activities Center and Fantle Memorial Park.
The bid from Pro Track and Tennis, out of Omaha, Nebraska, is for $184,000, which is $46,000 over budget.

Larson stated that the north Memorial Park courts are in the best shape, but they will be get the same treatment to keep them in top shape.
The City Commission voted to approve the bid, so that work can begin in the near future.
