On Monday night, the Yankton City Commission honored the Yankton High School Boys Basketball Team for winning the state championship.

The Bucks were not even ranked in the preseason, but were able to win games against Sioux Falls Washington, Sioux Falls Jefferson, and Mitchell by a total of 14 points to bring home the title.

Moser also commented that even though Yankton had to travel the farthest for the tournament, the Bucks had the most fans in attendance in Rapid City.
