All six Yankton city commission candidates gathered Monday for a candidate forum.
The candidates offered their views on a variety of questions during the forum. One of which, was how to balance the needs vs the wants of the city.
Charlie Gross, who has 24 years of experience on the Yankton city commission, says that no matter who is on the commission, they need to be prepared for the possibility of a recession that could impact spending.
The candidates were also asked about the preservation of the Meridian Bridge, which is approaching its 100th birthday.
Gross says that there a lot of different avenues that the city could take.
Election day for the city commission is April 11th.
