A car-semi accident on Highway 50 west of Yankton early this morning impeded traffic for over two hours.
Yankton Deputy Fire Chief Larry Nickles says icy conditions were the likely cause of the crash.
Nickles says numerous other vehicles ended up in the ditch due to early morning black ice on area roadways.
