The Yankton Special Olympics basketball and cheer is making a return for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Practices for the Southeast area regional tournament began last week, and Sheri Duke, the Head of Delegation for Yankton Special Olympics, says that they’re looking for volunteers for the tournament.
Duke says that they’re also looking for someone to help coach the cheerleading team.
The Southeast area regional tournament will be on Saturday, March 4th at the Yankton Middle School.
