Avera Sacred Heart has recognized Randa Wuebben at their quarterly DAISY Award winner.
The DAISY Program celebrates the care that nurses provide to patients.
Linsday Flannery, the VP Patient Care Services at Avera, provided more details about the DAISY Program.
Wuebben, who has been a registered nurse at Sacred Heart for 47 years, was nominated by Matt Tereshinski, who was a patient of Wuebben’s that passed away in October.
Flannery added that Wuebben’s ability to connect with her patients is why she stood out for the DAISY Award.
