Yankton Food For Thought is an organization that provides food to children in the Yankton area that are in need.
Food for Thought runs various programs; including the Sack Pack program which helps provide children at risk of hunger over the weekends when they are away from school.
Sandi Kramer with Food For Thought says that due to the high demand during the holiday season, they’re in need of donations.
Deb Overseth who is also with Food for Thought spoke about one of the ways that the community can support Food For Thought.
Kramer added that Broadway Chrysler in Yankton is currently doing a “Fill a Truck” event and they plan to match what the community donates to Food For Thought.
