On Saturday, the Yankton Community Library hosted a presentation and book signing for author Chris Wevik, highlighting her latest book, Someone Knows.
One of the 52 cases highlighted in the book is the 1992 death of Tammy Haas, which remains unsolved. Tammy’s mother, Nancy Haas, was in attendance.
Wevik talked about the importance of the book, and the relationships that she has built with the families…
The Tammy Hass case is the Yankton case in this book, but there are many more cases from around South Dakota, which are in need of new leads.
Wevik explained why keeping these stories alive is so important…
For each case in this book, Wevik has included the contact information for the appropriate law enforcement agency handling that case, since they need any new leads.
Wevik’s books are available at the Yankton Community Library, or online at https://www.amazon.com/
