The Mulberry Bend Overlook reopened on Friday after being closed since August of 2021 to due to renovations.
The Friends of Missouri National Recreational River hosted a celebration at the Overlook on Friday.
Park ranger Chris Langland says that one of the main goals of the renovations was to make it more accessible for senior citizens.
Langland also says that the sidewalk and overlook was 20 to 25 years old and needed maintenance
