Kids in the Park had their first event of the Summer on Saturday. One of the acts on Saturday was “Spin, Pop, Boom” with Mad Science from Kansas City.
Yankton Parks and Rec Director Todd Larson says that after getting to see mad Science do their experiments, the kids were split into different stations to make slime
Larson adds that there were 125 to 150 people at the event.
Larson also says that one of the more anticipated acts of the summer, Koo Koo Kangaroo will be in town next Saturday, June 11th.
Kids in the Park will be hosting live entertainment every Saturday throughout the summer.
