In partnership with Yankton Thrive and Riverfront Broadcasting, the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation will host its second Tour De Yankton Jobs Hiring Event on Tuesday (May 17) from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
The event will be hosted on the third Tuesday of every month and is available at no cost to businesses and job seekers. Yankton Thrive Workforce Development Coordinator Rita Nelson says the first tour last month went very well…
Nelson adds that as part of the tour, Yankton Medical Clinic will have a special career exploration event…
Participating business partners for May include Parker Hannifin, Yankton Medical Clinic, River’s Edge, Department of Corrections, Independent Living Choices, Shur-Co, Yankton Transit, Truxedo, Marina Bar & Grill, and Hydro.
As of last week, the SD WORKS jobs database reported 964 job openings in the Yankton area.
