Yankton School Board Approves Construction Of Early Childhood Education Center

The Yankton School Board unanimously approved moving forward with constructing a new multi-million-dollar early childhood development center.

The school board recently hired consultants to complete a facilities study. They recommended, and the school board agreed, to construct a sixty-eight thousand square foot early childhood education building that would cost between seventeen and twenty-one million dollars. It will be paid for with capital outlay certificates.
