The list of candidates running for Yankton County Commission this year grew again this week.
Incumbent and registered Independent Yankton County Commissioner Cheri Loest filed her nominating petitions on Tuesday, which was the deadline for registered independents.

Loest joins a long list of candidates running for County Commission. She joins Ryan Heine, Bruce Jensen, Christopher Barkl, Duane Becker, John Marquardt, and incumbent Dan Klimisch running as Republicans. Matt Evans is running as an independent.
