South Dakota’s team of 14-and-under hockey players have WON the 2022 USA Hockey Tier II 14U National Championship earlier today in Kalamazoo, MI. Yankton’s own Luke Moeller and Team South Dakota defeated the Alaska Oilers 6-3. South Dakota managed 29 shots on goal offensively, while Watertown’s Carson Hundstad allowed just three scores on 16 shots on goal. CARSON MYHRE (Aberdeen) and Cameron Ritter (Rapid City) each lit the goal lamp twice, while Carter Sanderson (Pierre) and Colton Merchen (Rapid City) each tallied a single goal.
