Yankton City Manager Amy Leon reminds residents there will be a joint city and
school district election April 12th with a March 28th deadline to register to vote.
Leon says part of the City Commission’s business during their regular meeting
Monday will be preparation for that election.
Leon says the city will also consider renewing the lease of Fox Run Golf Course to
GreatLife and the inspection of all city bridges.
Leon says the dry and somewhat mild winter has left Yankton with plenty of room
in its snow removal budget, but an ongoing drought is not a positive for city
operations.
The Commission meets Monday at 7pm in the Community Room at Yankton’s
Career Manufacturing Technical Education Academy at 1200 West 21st Street.
