The Yankton Curling Club will be hosting a special guest at the club’s next Learn-to-Curl event.
This Sunday, February 27th, former Men’s Olympic Curling Coach Tim Muller will be visiting Yankton to share his love of curling with the community.
Yankton Curling Club President Julianna Ford says the Learn-to-Curl will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Yankton Ice Rink. For the first 30 minutes, participants will be given a tutorial on how to play the game of curling followed by 90 minutes of game time. This event is open to anyone as young as 8.
The curling club has all the equipment needed for everyone to play. Participants will just need to wear warm gear, bring clean shoes and be ready to have some fun.
