Yankton County Chief Deputy Sheriff Michael Rothschadl says that officers responded to the northwest corner of 446th Avenue and East Highway 50 just past the Jim River Bridge Friday morning concerning a burglary to the building and grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Rothschadl says that sometime between Thursday evening and Friday morning, a 1990 Ford Mustang that is metallic teal in color was stolen out of the building. A battery, keys, and garage door openers were also stolen. The rims were polished with dark grey centers. He says the vehicle is estimated to be worth twenty thousand dollars.
