An unidentified man received non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday night in Yankton.
Yankton Police Department Commander Monty Rothenberger says that the accident occurred at the corner of 31st Street and Broadway Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday. The accident closed 31st Street to the west for about 45 minutes.
The male was transported to Avera Sacred Heart hospital by ambulance. Rothenberger declined to release the names of the individuals involved in the accident.
The Yankton Police Department, Yankton Fire Department, and the Yankton County EMS responded to the scene.
