This Saturday is the return of the Kids, Cops, and Christmas in Yankton.
After a one-year hiatus due to COVID, representatives of Yankton’s law enforcement community will be helping bring smiles to the faces of children again who may be facing a tough Christmas season this weekend.
The event is being led by Yankton School Resource Officer Jeremy Olson. He says the annual event has been a tradition in Yankton for decades…
Olson adds that the event is a rewarding experience for everyone involved…
In addition to the Yankton Police Department, the Yankton County Sheriff’s Office; Game, Fish & Parks; and the South Dakota Highway Patrol also assist with the event Saturday morning at Wal-Mart.
