On Wednesday evening, in the entrance of Cimpl Arena on the Mount Marty University campus, a major gift to the university was announced.

Dr. Larry Celmer and his wife, Martha “Marty” Celmer, decided to give back to an institution that has been near to his heart for his entire life.
Dr. Long explained that the professor who received this endowment will be required to teach, publish regularly, be active in the local business environment, and to help form ethical guidelines used in the business world.

This gift will be Mount Marty’s third endowed professorship, but it will be the first in the Business Department.
