South Dakota lawmakers are at a stalemate after meeting in Pierre earlier this week to try and approve new legislative district maps. The new districts have to be redrawn after each ten-year census.

Stevens says he has looked at the different proposals for his own District 18…
One map adds a couple of precincts from Turner County to the District, while the other adds precincts from Bon Homme and Hutchinson Counties.
