The long-time home of KYNT and Riverfront Broadcasting at 202 West 2nd Street in Yankton officially has a new owner.
Doyle and Carolyn Becker, owners of Riverfront Broadcasting, have sold the building to Yankton lawyer and state Representative Ryan Cwach.
Cwach says the building will be the new home to Birmingham & Cwach Law Offices. He plans on moving into the new office after session is over in the spring of 2022. He says some minor renovations will occur in the meantime.
Cwach says the new building will be a perfect fit for him. He hopes to lease out the back half of the building in the future.
KYNT and Riverfront Broadcasting was located at the 202 West 2nd Street building since 1980. Former KYNT owner Dean Sorenson purchased the building in 1979. KYNT’s headquarters were moved to 1019 Broadway in July of 2020.
