A one vehicle accident occurred early Wednesday morning near Volin.
According to Yankton County Chief Deputy Sheriff Michael Rothschadl, the Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of 306th Avenue and Bluff Road just east of Volin at approximately 2:30 in the morning.
26-year-old April Hochstein was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix and she failed to negotiate a curve at that intersection and went into the ditch. She was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
Hochstein was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
