The Yankton and Bon Homme Point of Distribution will be providing free influenza vaccinations this year for children 6 months to age 18 and for adults.
The vaccination clinic will be this Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00pm at 2407 Broadway. That’s the Calvary Baptist Church parking lot.
The Yankton County Office of Emergency Management says there will also be a Food for Thought event going on at the same time, but that event is for families with children in the Yankton School District only.
The vaccination clinic will be set up near them and Yankton County Public Information Officer Cherie Hoffman says that they want to vaccinate as many people over 6 months of age as possible. This free clinic is open to anyone in Yankton and Bon Homme Counties.
