The Market at the Meridian is hosting a Finck Family benefit this Saturday morning.
Joshua Finck and his five children lost wife and mother Celesta to cancer in January. Pursuing Celesta’s dream, Joshua and his mother-in-law, Rosamary Gilligan, continued the family tradition of selling flowers at the Market this year. Joshua says the entire family was involved in the effort.
Finck says participating in the farmer’s market project has allowed his children to experience some healing and perspective on their loss.
In spite of their own situation, Joshua says the family likes to share their goodwill and blessings with the Market at the Meridian community.
The Finck benefit will be at Market at the Meridian, Second and Douglas, this Saturday from nine to noon, and will include a freewill donation barbecue and silent auction.
